Applications are accepted from the following territories (based on citizenship): World.

Accepted proof of proficiency: FCE, CAE or CPE, IELTS 6.5+ or TOEFL 90+

If your previous studies have been fully in English and it is marked on your degree certificate or transcript, or noted in a confirmation from the school which confirms that your studies have been fully in English language, additional English certificate is not required.

At least 2 reference(s) must be provided.

Two separate up-to-date references signed by academic referees or researchers from the relevant field of science.
One reference must be written by the supervisor of the research topic that you are applying to.
Signed and scanned references must be uploaded.

A motivation letter must be added to your application.

Note:

1. In this section you must indicate dissertation topic (from the dissertation topics list given at admissions.ktu.edu/phd for each programme) ONLY

2. Any explicit and detailed motivation must be added as a separate document

1. Official legalised Bachelor’s and Master’s diplomas or a higher education degree equivalents and academic transcripts. (foreign diplomas (i.e. those issued in other country than Lithuania) must have a document certifying that the diploma is recognized in Lithuania
2. Copy of passport
3. Curriculum Vitae
4. References by two academic referees or researchers majoring in Transport Engineering science field (reference of the future supervisor is mandatory)
5. List of scientific publications (also accepted publications)
6. Copies of scientific publications
7. Copy of application fee payment (40EUR for EU citizens, and 100 EUR for non-EU citizens).
8. Certificate of English proficiency (or a proof that the previous studies were in English)
