If your previous studies have been fully in English and it is marked on your degree certificate or transcript, or noted in a confirmation from the school which confirms that your studies have been fully in English language, additional English certificate is not required.

At least 2 reference(s) must be provided.

Two separate up-to-date references signed by academic referees or researchers majoring in Sociology.
Signed and scanned references must be uploaded.

A motivation letter must be added to your application.

Note:

1. In this section you must indicate dissertation topic (from the dissertation topics list given at admissions.ktu.edu/phd for each programme) ONLY

2. Any explicit and detailed motivation must be added as a separate document

1. Official legalised Master’s diplomas or a higher education degree equivalents and academic transcripts (translated into English or Lithuanian and notary verified) and the certificate of recognition if higher education qualification acquired abroad (see skvc.lt )

4. List of scientific publications and copies of scientific publications and also manuscripts of accepted publications (editorial board confirmation about publication acceptance must be attached)

8. Copy of application fee payment (40 EUR for EU citizens, and 100 EUR for non-EU citizens)
9. Documents confirming the change of names and surnames, if not all submitted documents have the same name/surname
