The documents must be legalised (Apostille)by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine.

You will also need Police Clearance Certificate (non-criminal record) from all countries you have lived before arriving to Lithuania for more than 6 months. We recommend to take Police Clearance Certificate not earlier than 1 month before departure.
NOTE: Certificates must be apostalized or double legalized.
Accepted proof of proficiency: IELTS ≥5.5, TOEFL ≥75, CEFR ≥B2, IESOL B2, Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), or another equivalent standardised admission test.
If your previous studies have been fully in English and it is marked on your degree certificate or transcript, or noted in confirmation from the school which confirms that your studies have been fully in the English language, an additional English test may not be required.
If an applicant does not have any official test, an online examination may be organized by KTU.
Specific requirements for Non-EU applicants:
Maximum gap after high / secondary school or later studies cannot be more than 3 years.
Speed, safety, ecology, comfort, economy, and other properties in the transport are conditioned by electronics. Modern transport – from vehicle to complex intelligent metropolitan transport control system – cannot be imagined without electronics.
1. Electronics engineering field programme is oriented to the transport sector
The study programme provides basic electronics engineering knowledge and specific knowledge related to transport electronics.
2. Design and practical skills
Skills of design and use of vehicle and electric car electronic systems, transport traffic management and vehicle parking systems, knowledge of transport sensors, controllers, energy sources, skills of work with testing and diagnostics means.
3. The modern equipment is used in the process of studies
The laboratory equipment of German producer “LD Didactic” is used in the process of studies.

Students’ good motivation conditions creativeness and environment oriented to academic results helping to assimilate necessary skills and knowledge.
5.Product and service development
Are you interested in creating real products and services while studying? It is now possible to test yourself by getting involved in a product development project (PDP). During the project, you will work in teams, collaborating with KTU researchers and social partners. While solving current, relevant problems you will improve your teamwork, project management, and problem-solving skills, deepen professional knowledge and expand your career opportunities.
Extensive career opportunities
After the completion of studies, it is possible to work as an expert, engineer, project manager, specialist of organisation and management of transport technologies, technical maintenance, and service specialist, participate in the projects of development and modernisation of transport means and systems. The graduates from the transport electronics find jobs in “Accel Elektronika”, “Robert Bosch”, Lithuanian Railways, “Kautra”, “Aviabaltika”, “Kauno autobusai”, “Arevita”, and other companies.
