Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
The documents must be legalized (Apostille)by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine.
You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
The accepted student must bring all notary verified documents which were submitted during the application as well as their originals upon arrival or send before: International Studies Office Kaunas University of Technology Donelaicio St. 73-104 LT-44249 Kaunas Lithuania. You will also need Police Clearance Certificate (non-criminal record) from all countries you have lived before arriving to Lithuania for more than 6 months. We recommend to take Police Clearance Certificate not earlier than 1 month before departure. NOTE: Certificates must be apostalized or double legalized.

If your previous studies have been fully in English and it is marked on your degree certificate or transcript, or noted in a confirmation from the school which confirms that your studies have been fully in English language, additional English test may not be required.

Maximum gap after high / secondary school or later studies cannot be more than 3 years.
Turkish citizens must upload the following document together with all other documents: Higher Education Examination-Undergraduate Placement Examination (YGS-LYS) examination certificate.
Mechanical engineering is one of the broadest and oldest of the engineering disciplines and therefore provides some of the strongest interdisciplinary opportunities in the engineering profession. The programme covers analysis of different materials and technologies used in industry, fundamentals of machine design and product development. The competencies, abilities and skills to develop equipment, components and systems of mechanical nature applying modern CAD/CAE systems are of special importance for future career. The programme has a Twin programme option under the ECIU consortium.
Two semesters of alternatives (semesters of free choice) are included into the Programme. According personal needs and interests the students can select:
- Deepening studies in the field of mechanical engineering,
- Development of competencies in practical engineering activities through semester or two semester placement at engineering enterprises (“Extended Practice” model),
- International semester at partner European universities.

_“Studies of Mechanical Engineering provides the essential knowledge, which is necessary for a mechanical engineer. This programme focuses both on fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering, and on innovations of design, engineering analysis and production. Communication with lecturers is pleasant and efficient; they always provide additional consultations outside of lectures and by email.
While preparing my thesis, I used a chance to implement acquired theoretical knowledge in the practical project “Design of Tile Sanding Machine”. The project was implemented as the University’s cooperation with the producer of tiles, which the machine was designed for. Good theoretical preparation in previous academic years and constructive consultations with thesis supervisor enabled combination of acquired knowledge in the engineering project, which was implemented in the industry and defended with the best evaluation.
