Final exams of Mathematics and Physics are obligatory.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
The documents must be legalised (Apostille)by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine.
It is required that you send verified copies of the entry qualification documents directly to the university by postal mail. Important! Never send original documents by post!

You will also need Police Clearance Certificate (non-criminal record) from all countries you have lived before arriving to Lithuania for more than 6 months. We recommend to take Police Clearance Certificate not earlier than 1 month before departure.
If your previous studies have been fully in English and it is marked on your degree certificate or transcript, or noted in a confirmation from the school which confirms that your studies have been fully in English language, additional English test may not be required.
If an applicant does not have any official test, online examination may be organised by KTU.
Specific requirements for Non-EU applicants:
Maximum gap after high / secondary school or later studies cannot be more than 3 years.
Study programme of Mechanical Engineering is designed for preparation of graduates with Bachelor degree, who have knowledge of mechanical engineering and production technologies, are able to design equipment using design software, make technologies for production of components, and programme processing of components using programmed machinery. Programme offers specialisation of Engineering Design, or it is possible to make a personal set of modules.

Graduates of Mechanical Engineering have a wide range of career opportunities in the countries where industry plays a major role. _"Studies of Mechanical Engineering provides the essential knowledge, which is necessary for a mechanical engineer. This programme focuses both on fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering, and on innovations of design, engineering analysis and production. Communication with lecturers is pleasant and efficient; they always provide additional consultations outside of lectures and by email.
While preparing my thesis, I used a chance to implement acquired theoretical knowledge in the practical project "Design of Tile Sanding Machine". The project was implemented as the University’s cooperation with the producer of tiles, which the machine was designed for. Good theoretical preparation in previous academic years and constructive consultations with thesis supervisor enabled combination of acquired knowledge in the engineering project, which was implemented in the industry and defended with the best evaluation.
Assessing acquired knowledge and skills from the perspective of my personal career, I can speak positively about this study programme.
