Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) English preparatory (foundation) course is offered only to those who intend to continue undergraduate at KTU but do not have required English language proficiency. Therefore the applicant must meet the requirements of the selected programme (chosen in the application form). The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian. The applicant must present all documents which are requested to enter undergraduate programme. The documents must be legalised (Apostille) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine. Notary verified photocopies (with the translation into English, if needed) and original documents are submitted upon the arrival. You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. Overview
This intensive course in academic English will help you prepare, and support you throughout, your university studies in English. the core components of the course focus on the skills required to function independently and effectively in a university environment and explore in depth the academic language needed to practice the study skills.
Group of 5-7 students.
A2 – B2 levels. Each level is finalised with an exam. 2 levels per semester may be achieved.
Advantages: English language certificate; B2 holders are eligible to be enrolled for degree programmes without IELTS/TOEFL.
